Coming to Lens
By car
The town of Lens is linked to a large network of motorways that make it easy to get to the surrounding towns and villages:
- Nationale 25 (A-road) from Arras to Lille
- Nationale 43 from Hénin-Beaumont to Béthune
- Départementale 947 (B-road) to la Bassée
Lens is linked to the major motorways by the A21 and A211 that encircle the town:
- A1 (Lille-Paris)
- A26 (Calais-Reims)
By train

By plane
The international airport of Lille-Lesquin (link to dedicated website) is the closest to Lens. Situated next to the A1 motorway, it is under 30 minutes from Lens.
