A new strategic area located between the Louvre-Lens, the station and the town centre

The objective is to create a new district, making it easier to get to the Louvre-Lens, and facilitating movements between the town centre and the museum. This project will be the focus of special attention by the team of designers appointed as part of the Euralens project (Desvigne – Portzamparc).

The project is aimed at:

• Developing the retail, hotel and residential sectors
• Rethinking public spaces
• Creating a cultural and recreational complex
• Improving the links between the neighbouring areas and the town centre
